Tom Ellis White Park
Wolfe City Rail Trail has a primitive overnight camp ground. This park is located close to the city reservoir which is near the trail.
Trail users passing thru have a small campsite to stop and rest for the night. They can safely pitch a tent while biking, packing, or hiking along the Wolfe City Rail Trail section of the NorthEast Texas Trail.
The campsite is named in memory of Wolfe City police officer Tom Ellis White who gave his life in the line of duty July 8th, 1975.
For safety purposes, and to ensure availability of the campsite, users of the Tom Ellis White Park must use the form below to reserve the campsite.
Special thanks goes to the hard working Troop 313 from Greenville, Texas in their help for this project. 💚
